About Us

EDROSE ART GALLERY is an important part of the art ecosystem in Accra, Ghana. It was founded by an Art Family Collective to make African-centered artworks visible and accessible to the global art community. The mission of EDROSE ART GALLERY is to elevate African-centered art as part of the global conversation on art.
At EDROSE ART GALLERY, our Art Family Collective lives and breathes art, and art lives in us. Our artistic vision takes its inspiration from the African Metaphysical Universe.
Our artistic creations are inspired by African motifs, the continent’s rich symbolism, where human, animal, and geometric forms express deep philosophical ideas about identity, belief, and cosmology.
For over two decades, we have used African-centered batik, textile design, and painting to celebrate and question the very concepts that shape African societies. Each piece of artwork invites the viewer to see, feel, and reflect on the histories, stories, and spirituality that define the African heritage.
